Get Chelmsford buzzing

For 10 weeks, a swarm of giant and mini bee sculptures will be installed through streets, parks and places of interest, encouraging locals and visitors to get out, bee active and enjoy spending time in our buzzing city!

The art trail is completely free for everyone to enjoy. You can follow the trail using a printed map or our mobile app to discover more about each bee, its artist and its sponsors.

After the trail closes these spectacular artworks will be auctioned off to raise much-needed funds for Farleigh Hospice.

Farleigh Hospice

Why bees?

Bees have a strong sense of community and teamwork, tirelessly working together for the greater good.

Their incredible work ethic, dedication and persistence are qualities that our hospice staff and volunteers also embody as they strive to provide compassionate care and support to patients and their families.

We also admire bees for their industrious nature, environmental importance and educational value.

Bee part of the swarm

Whether you’re a talented artist wanting to showcase your work or a business wanting to raise your profile, you can bee part of this buzzing event and support the local hospice charity!

Schools, care homes and community groups can also join the swarm by adopting and decorating their own mini bee!
